Action scenes make our hearts race, jaws drop, and eyes fixated on their well-done choreography or awesome CGI. UGO has compiled some awesome action scenes ranging from hand to hand fights to metal on metal collisions. Check out this video laced post and complain here if they missed anything lol. My complaint is that they don’t really include any Chinese movies with awesome choreography, but that’s okay, I’m sure there are dozens of lists that I’ll post here that involve best Chinese choreographed fights.

There are a lot of memorabilia from my childhood: LEGOs, my Playstation 1, Disney and Pixar classic movies, etc. Sometimes I think my generation is the first generation to include products of the internet as part of their memorabilia. For any boy at the age of 10 or so, we looked for things to obsess over. Red Vs. Blue, a Machinima web series made from the game Halo, filled that void. The developers Rooster Teeth essentially created a well written web series that has become highly popularized since it’s first conception in 2003. The story essentially revolves around two warring companies in a blood gulch that are pitted against each other. They question their existence and purpose in the most hilarious manner and this rather simple story expands into a 100+ webisode series that has grown an extremely large fan base. If you’re interested in Halo and haven’t seen this series yet, you have no idea what you’re missing out on. Watch the above video and be sure to visit Rooster Teeth to check out the other AMAZING things they do on a daily basis.

Does this make Kevin Bacon any more awesome than he already is? This video we’ve got here is Kevin Bacon starring in a commercial as a Kevin Bacon fanatic. This raises more questions than it solves: 1) Where in the hell did all of this Kevin Bacon merchandise come from and where can I get it? 2) How do you pitch something like this to any actor? 3) Why the hell did they choose Kevin Bacon? Haha, regardless, I think he’s absolutely awesome for doing this.
And I love at the end they squish in the reason they made this advertisement: Logitech. I almost considered buying something Logitech until Kevin Bacon starting talking again about how if he watched any more Kevin Bacon, he might become him. *Crosses fingers.

This is a long time coming. I’ve recently been getting more and more into books. This truly started around my birthday in February when I bought all 5 existing Song of Ice and Fire novels and crushed 4/5 of them in about 4 months. Now-a-days, I’ve been trying to finish the 5th book and I can’t stop but already get excited to start writing about it. Then I realized that I don’t actually have a books section to put it in and putting it under ‘television’ where Game of Thrones technically exists wouldn’t seem right. So instead, I’m creating a new category for the occasion. Below, I’ve posted some other novels, comic books, and graphic novels that I’m also heavily interested in once I wrap up Game of Thrones. I’ll be more than happy to take all of your recommendations!

Another Cracked Photosplasty brings another compilation of awesome images. This week’s topic: 20 Plot twists no one saw coming. What this essentially means is that this gallery is a compilation of things that don’t actually happened in movies but would’ve been completely awesome anyways. Tom Hanks reprises quite the large number of appearances in this list, so enjoy.

The tablet is alive!!! I reset all my preferences and my Bamboo Tablet is back in business. For the first time in a long time, here’s a Sunday Sketch. My ‘Batman Universe as Children’ gallery gets another addition with young Victor and Nora Fries play by the pool. The future Mr. Freeze finds a neat astronaut suit action figure while Nora steals his favorite water gun.

My Take
From Wonder Wimp, is a compilation of 33 things you could do instead of exercising. My family is pretty much a health nutty family, but I don’t seem to pick up. I’m not entirely too skinny nor over weight, but I am very lean and thin. As for these things I could be doing, some are more out of my range, me being in a suburban neighborhood: like milk a cow or make a snowflake [it’s 100 degrees F where I’m at]. But I do personally love ‘Watch Community’. Congrats Jane on your Reblog!

I’ve soon learned that Weekend Funnies are a temporary vacation from you real life, as you get stuck in a world where life doesn’t suck so much. A world where anonymity is power that allows you to be racist, sexist, judgmental, or all of the above for a few quick minutes and then you can return to whoever you were before. So take this time and enjoy these 24 images are your escape from your likely hellish life. And if your offended with one image, always remember that if EVERYONE finds it funny, it probably truly isn’t.

For those who don’t know, Nigel Thornberry is a cartoon character from the Nickelodeon show The Wild Thornberrys. He has a very distinct facial structure and mannerisms that the internet has taken advantage of. By implanting his face on many Disney princesses and other popular culture, he’s become a meme for the shock value and disturbing combination of a perfect body and hideous face. I’ve divided this post into 4 pages because .GIF files are known to slow pages down.

If you’ve finished the Mass Effect 3 campaign, you know that the extended cut was released last Tuesday for US and Canada to possibly fill any plot holes some [all] players wanted. There have been an entire mess of theories arising, the most popular being the indoctrination theory, which in short was the idea that the entire final 30 minutes or so were simply an illusion and that you were in Shepherds mind fighting of metaphors for indoctrination. Was that Bioware’s actual intention? Does Shepherd still have an enemy to fight? If you haven’t read up on the theories yet or are just curious to what my take on the series is, I suggest you continue reading below. But beware, if you’re still interested in picking up the series, mass [lol] spoilers ahead.

I’m a sucker for non-super superhero movies. I loved Super and Mystery Men, and Kick-Ass is in the same league. So it’s been announced that all three leads will be returning: Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass, Chloe Moretz as Hit Girl, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist. Collider has dug up an interview that has Aaron Johnson talking about what’s in store for Kick-Ass fans. Otherwise, I’m also considering picking up the graphic novel. Who can give me a recommendation if it’s any good or not?

It’s small, but it’s still worth honoring considering that Breaking Bad returns in about 15 days. Breaking Bad is absolutely one of the best [if not the absolute best] television shows out there. This very scene was from the first season and can be known as one of the first steps taken in Walter White’s journey down his dark road. Well maybe not this particular scene, but the original one. If the Charizard actually did pop out, then we’d definitely have a strong candidate for ‘Best Fcking Television Show Ever Created’.

There’s a lot of cool things that can be done with LEGO. An ambitious child/man [lol who knows], decided to reenact [or rebuild in his {of maybe even her} case] the Game of Thrones opening with LEGO. Unfortunately, the soundtrack is not exact, so I’ve included the original below so you can try and line up the soundtrack with the muted LEGO video. It’s fairly awesome when you put them together.

As you’ve read, Google’s most ambitious project to date will be slated for release sometime next year. With all the other fancy gadgets we haven’t seen yet that were predicted (like hoverboards a la Back to the Future), it’s nice to see some genuine innovation when it comes to every day use technology. Additionally, as you’ve probably already seen in the video, Google Glass is a radical change from the touch screen environment we’re used to using to a more futuristic and edgy kind of optical technology. I haven’t seen anything that dictates how it works yet, but rest assured I’m a true believer in it despite not knowing much else. Check out more in the article I wrote up about this futuristic step forward. Continue Reading »

Donnie Darko was a complex movie. So complex and intimidating, that I’ve only watched it once because I didn’t want to put myself through the mind stress. But below, Metaphilm has compiled a theory and explanation to the cult classic. It’s fairly similar to the Breaking Down of Memento’s time structure. Donnie Darko is significantly more difficult and complex, so the idea of physics and tangentals are sprinkled here and there. But if you want to try hard, I recommend you check out the link below.

Apparently there’s a big deal regarding this book, 50 Shades of Grey that has to deal with women wanted to be put into submission in order to satiate their…desires. Well naturally, this created some opportunities to have some fun with this. Funny Or Die has then enlisted Selena Gomez and Nick Kroll to reenact a parody that gives me a slight idea of what this book is all about and it looks just as dumb as what this parody makes it out to be. Let’s hear ya’lls opinion on anyone who’s actually read the book. Meanwhile, I’ll be diving right back into my Song of Ice and Fire series.

In today’s article we’ll cover something I found a little interesting. According to the article below, the Wii U, before even launching, is being named the ‘power orphan’ of the next-gen consoles. It’s understandable considering Nintendo’s penchant for not necessarily focusing on top of the line hardware when it comes to console based goals. Will this affect how the Wii U sells considering how well the original Wii sold in comparison its competitors? I’m not quite sure how it will pan out but developments like these never bode well for the console in question. Read more in the article below to check out what else has been said.

Another Universidazeless week ladies and gents. My tablet is on the fritz and the above photo is a work on progress I started last week to post that hasn’t moved since then. It’s the worst, but I’ve sent an email to Wacom to check my options. Hopefully they’ll have a solution so that I may start drawing again. Until then, I’ll take this one post break to possibly catch up on some other posts I need to finish up.
Enjoy your Hump Day.
