So apparently this funny picture of obscurely amazing actor Danny Trejo was supporting some guy for local office or something of the sort. But then one of the many sites I frequent FilmDrunk decided to hold a photoshop contest to see who could come up with the wittiest shop. I love these types of challenges because it’s like a humongous game of Apples to Apples through the internet. And there are bound to be people more clever than you [and dumber], so appreciate their wit through this amazing gallery.

Kevin Bacon Endorses Kevin Bacon…and Logitech
Posted in Character Profiles, tagged 6 degrees, celebrity, funny, kevin bacon, logitech on July 2, 2012| 2 Comments »
Does this make Kevin Bacon any more awesome than he already is? This video we’ve got here is Kevin Bacon starring in a commercial as a Kevin Bacon fanatic. This raises more questions than it solves: 1) Where in the hell did all of this Kevin Bacon merchandise come from and where can I get it? 2) How do you pitch something like this to any actor? 3) Why the hell did they choose Kevin Bacon? Haha, regardless, I think he’s absolutely awesome for doing this.
And I love at the end they squish in the reason they made this advertisement: Logitech. I almost considered buying something Logitech until Kevin Bacon starting talking again about how if he watched any more Kevin Bacon, he might become him. *Crosses fingers.

Character Profile: Alex DeLarge

Alex DeLarge from Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange is hands down one of the most interesting characters rendered to the screen. Now I’ve never read the book, but I’d imagine Alex DeLarge [or just Alex as I’ve heard he has no last name in the books] is just as insane, maniacal, and almost sympathetic as he’s portrayed in the film. Let those eyes sink in a moment. And when you’re done with your staring contest, scroll down the rest of this post to check out the image gallery I’ve posted. All images were taken from searching Alex DeLarge on Deviant Art. You can check out that page here and look up your favorite artists.
Zach Galifianakis in His Garage: Between 2 Ferns

Very similar to yesterday’s post regarding Mike O’Brien getting famous celebrities to do crazy things in his closet, Zach ‘Alan’ Galifianakis gets famous A-listers to sit down in his garage to talk for a bit. According to Galifianakis himself, he apparently calls up celebs and asks them to leave their lawyers and guards behind him and sit down with him in a garage to do a short interview. What happens is that Galifianakis himself becomes a disgusting and awkward host to the unsuspecting celebs which forces them into gleefully uncomfortable situations. Some actors maintain their game face and play along while others get completely upset and storm off. It’s all staged of course, but that doesn’t take away how awesome both this host and the interviewees are. I always believed Sean Penn to have a major stick up his ass, but after he did this, I kinda like him a lot better now…even if he did the interview with that persona, you have to admit that agreeing to do this was completely unlike his character. Check out my favorites below!
7 Minutes in Heaven Puts Celebrities on the Spot

Mike O’Brien. For some reason the man is difficult to find a Wikipedia or IMDB page about him. Apparently he’s a writer for SNL who’s been granted the good grace of spending 7 Minutes in Heaven with major players in the pop culture world. In these 7 minutes, he asks them awkward questions, puts them in uncomfortable situations, makes them play entire scenarios in closet and in true 7 minutes in heaven fashion, he tries to kiss them at the end of the interview. He’s had both major and minor people come in his closet and while not all of them are exactly 7 minutes, they’re definitely worth the watch. Hit below to see a video playlist of my favorites [See the Paul Rudd One!!]
Character Profile: Walter White

With Breaking Bad just around the corner, it’s more than ready to start getting ready for it. I legitimately had to say last year’s season of Breaking Bad simply was the best show of the year, that saying even though I’m a hardcore Game of Thrones fan. It’s gritty, exciting, violent, and so emotional, that no amount [well maybe some amount] of dragons could beat the legendary game of cat and mouse between Gus and Walter. So in that honor, I’ve compiled a gallery of Deviant Art’s finest in honor of Walter White. In all honesty, there is a lot of Jessie Pinkman, so it might as well be the combination of the two. Breaking Bad’s final season part 1 begins July 15, 2012 on AMC.
Walken in a Winter Wonder Land
Posted in Character Profiles, Movies on June 11, 2012| 1 Comment »
Well just how absolutely punny is this!?!? I’m sure most of you are familiar with the Christmas song: Walking in a Winter Wonderland. Mix it up with some celebrity pop culture and here you have Christopher Walken in a winter setting giving off the essence of a wonderland. Consequently, I recently opened up his IMDB to check out what he’s been in lately and apparently the man is still very busy. Not in anything I’ve seen recently, but still at least he’s still doing his goofy voice and walk. I’m doing his goofy voice as we speak. Maybe I’ll share that imitation with you all one day…
Thesy Surface as Margaret McPoyle is a Visual Stunner

Margaret McPoyle. You know her from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She’s the hideous, unibrowed, mute that plagues the gang from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia with her brothers, Liam and Ryan. She’s not very well known, but she’s definitely known for this character. But the truth of the matter is, behind this scary, perverted, character is actually portrayed by this beautiful, unique looking actress Thesy Surface. Two unique names, a distinct facial structure, and a rockin’ bod, it was impossible to not compile this rather gorgeous gallery.
Keanu Reeves is Secretly Jesus

Keanu Reeves has become a bit of a pop culture icon. Not because all of his movies are awesome or because he’s a paparazzi monster. Mr. Reeves has the most hilarious candid photos. I’m sure you’ve seen his ‘lonely Keanu’ or ‘Keanu Reeves is immortal’ meme. I like to think he’s fairly eccentric, but I’ve read that he’s an incredibly nice person. He gave up a lot of his salary to finish the Matrix movies and he treats his fans incredibly well. But that’s not the focus of this picture here. It’s hilarious that Keanu has created this persona as a ‘Jesus’ like figure. This image cements his powers by looking at his drink. There is a tall wine bottle that is full of water and his glass is seemingly full of wine….MAGIC.
Morning Banana Oatmeal: Celebrities Who Got Their Break From Judd Apatow

People have declared that ‘Freaks and Geeks’ and ‘Undeclared’ helped James Franco, Seth Rogen, and many others get their amazing careers started. All of these were produced by fairly big comedy juggernaut Judd Apatow. Warming Glow has compiled 20 actors all ranging from Ben Stiller to David Cross who got their biggest breaks on a Judd Apatow produced show.
The Many Faces of Johnny Depp

It’s not unknown that Johnny Depp has a knack for taking on extremely strange characters. The last normal think I’ve seen him do was I think Public Enemies as John Dillinger, [haven’t seen Rum Diary or The Tourist, but seriously have you? LOL, Ricky Gervais joke]. Anywho, This is a neat image that compiles 4 of his works [see if you can guess all four, it doesn’t take a genius to] into a fairly symmetrical image. I kinda wish more of these were around. If anyone can dig them up let me know, that’d be great!
Morning Banana Oatmeal: One Hit Wonder Actors

Some actors can only be remembered by one role in their entire careers. Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker was great, but is there anything else that he has credit to [besides voicing a very memorable Joker in the Arkham games]? Flavorwire has compiled 8 well known actors and the roles that will follow them for the rest of their [and our] lives.
Bruce Lee Has Some Word of Wisdom

Well this makes me feel flabby. I’m not near overweight, nor am I very cut. But I feel as though I wish I could be like this. Living life to the philosophy of one of the greatest martial artists would not be a wasted life. Maybe I should just roll over and die now for prioritizing writing this blog than making my body like a temple. Regardless, I love this kind of story. It’s simple, the message is clear, and it’s equally invigorating to give me the motivation to actually do something. Could I run three miles in twenty two minutes? Not likely, but it’s a goal definitely worth striving for.
A Luscious Gallery of Rooney Mara

Rooney Mara is one of my favorite actresses. She was adorable in The Social Network and she absolutely killed it as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I think that’s where I truly first ‘fell in love’ with her. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’s Lisbeth Salander is a girl I fell in love with in Steig Larsson adaptation. There’s something about her distinct bone structure and her beautiful take one of the most interesting characters ever created. So I had a little fun compiling this fairly large gallery of some of my favorite shots of Rooney Mara.
Why Batman is Actually Bad for Gotham

Cracked has a series called After Hours where they take a group of highly opinionated individuals and break down a random subject by looking at its history and legacy. In this episode, they debate whether or not Batman is actually good for Gotham. They use points like his sanity, the villains he creates, and how he could actually truly benefit Gotham by not being Batman. See the well seasoned debate above.
A Game of Thrones Rock Opera Opening

I feel like I’ve posted 5 of these Game of Thrones opening covers in the past 2 weeks, but I keep stumbling upon awesome new renditions of it. This one doesn’t actually feature the actual title screen like the Simpsons or Stark Kids version I’ve featured before, but the beautiful violin work of Jason Yang and the awesome rock acoustic mixing of Roger Lima and the White Noise Lab.
Famous Actors Get Their Villainy On in: A Touch of Evil

I’ve compiled an interesting bundle of videos of famous actors paying homage to amazing cinema villains seemingly paid for by The New York Times. Below you’ll see Brad Pitt, Jean Dujardin, Mia Wasikowska, Gary Oldman, Kristen Dunst, etc. etc. playing some of the most awesome renditions of infamous faces like Alex DeLarge, Ray LaMotta, and Eraserhead. See all of them below. On another note, Rooney Mara gives me another reason to go absolutely bonkers over her. I’m sorry most of the videos are un-embeddable. Please don’t mind switching over to Youtube to watch the actual videos.
See the Gallery of images here and the compiled videos below. Or it might be easier if I just link you to the actual playlist here starting with Jessica Chastain. Whatever works best for you.
What if Hermione was Sorted in a Different House?
Posted in Character Profiles, Movies, tagged gryffindor, Harry Potter, hufflepuff, ravenclaw, ron weasly, slytherin on May 21, 2012| 4 Comments »
We all love Hermione Granger and Emma Watson. What we have hear is a rather interesting take if she was sorted into a different house. I suppose the concept here is that based on the house, a certain type of personality or persona is established. It’s no stranger that most people from Slytherin are jerks and slimy, and to assume that it would apply to most isn’t a far stretch given their track records. So this image features subtly different attributes into Hermione Granger if she were sorted in a different house. I personally like the kindness in Ravenclaw Hermione, and I am a sucker for brown hair/blue eyes, but I don’t mind the spunky attitude of Slytherin Hermione. Then again, Hufflepuff Hermione looks like she was kissed by fire and the alliteration is oh too sweet. And then classic Gryffindor Hermion is just as beautiful. I’ll take them all please.

I recently just crushed the 3 seasons of Avatar: the Last Airbender and I seriously got hyped up on how such a good show it was. The show was just so good that I had to honor it. I decided to honor it with a gallery of its title character. I went to Deviant art and chose the 15 best photos. I normally try to honor the artists, but it simply takes way to long to do this. I encourage you instead to check out the artists themselves. Below is the gallery.
