A couple of days ago, I posted a routine 11:00 EST article regarding the Spring TV Wrap Up Ceremony.  Little did I know, I would get freshly pressed which is every bloggers wet dream because it allows us to live out the dream of people actually giving a sh!t about what we’re talking about.  Naturally, a massive influx of commenters arrived ranging in variety and domain names.  Today, I’m going to take a break from the norm of talking about movies, television or video games, and kinda go meta here.  Obviously there must be some sort of motivation that forces a user to take the time to comment on an article.  Replies range from single sentences to well written anecdotes.  Each have their own sense of opinion and style and I found rather humorous.  This article is designed to make fun of user cliches and norms.  I’m sorry if you get caught in the crossfire, but remember I’m making fun of the social norm and not you.  But when it comes to blogging, all press is good press.  Wordpress.  [LOL]

I’ve soon learned that Weekend Funnies are a temporary vacation from you real life, as you get stuck in a world where life doesn’t suck so much.  A world where anonymity is power that allows you to be racist, sexist, judgmental, or all of the above for a few quick minutes and then you can return to whoever you were before.  So take this time and enjoy these 24 images are your escape from your likely hellish life.  And if your offended with one image, always remember that if EVERYONE finds it funny, it probably truly isn’t.

Ain’t gonna lie, ever since Jean Dujardin did The Artist, he’s proven himself a very charming and talented actor.  In this Funny Or Die original, they talk about how European actors doing very famous villain roles after they first make contact with the Hollywood blockbuster and name examples to qualify their statement [Spanish: Javier Bardem, German: Cristolph Waltz, French: Jean Dujardin].  Anywho, the rest of the video shows him casting for upcoming action movies.  I love actors who do Funny or Die because all it really does is make fun of who they are, and actors that don’t take themselves seriously enough to do them make them more likable.  Anywho, check out the video above to laugh and fall in love with Jean all over again.

The Chive is a very popular website that seems to dedicate itself to…well itself.  As arrogant and self-glorifying as it is, it does seem to compile some very hilarious stuff.  For example this collection of captions on this page.  I’ve picked some of the best to feature here.  Enjoy.

To my many new followers, the weekend comics are when I compound 24 hilarious images I’ve found on the internet.  These are not movie/tv related, but knowing a little bit of pop culture won’t hurt you.  As I’ve experienced before, not all humor appeals to all human beings, so please be prepared for racial, gender, and inappropriate jokes.  Otherwise, loosen up and put a smile on.

Funny Or Die is a website created and partially maintained by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and their production company.  It serves as a site very similar to CollegeHumor, that serves as an entertainment website for its readers.  On occasion CollegeHumor has featured celebrities that contribute to its already popular library.  But the up that Funny Or Die has is that it even more frequently utilizes A-listers to make videos that are absolutely hysterical with the 1st class production value.  So I’ve compiled some of my favorite videos from Funny or Die below.   I’m sure long after this post is done, they will continue to pump out more and more videos.  Most of these videos are un-embeddable, so most likely, you’ll have to jump over to Youtube to actually watch them.  Rergardless, enjoy below.

This is neither directly movie or TV related.  But more than often TV and movies enforce these stereotypes, and especially reminds me of Mean Girls where they have a map of the drama in the high school cafeteria [clip below].  Hell if you don’t buy that lame excuse for a ‘bridge’, the third element in BananaFeeds Mission Statement is ‘Entertainment’.  So these images are  layouts of the types of people in cafeterias at ALL ages.  Be entertained.

Last week, I expressed my excitement to having Charlie Day host SNL.  While it wasn’t absolutely as atrocious as Anna Faris’s work, [Danny DeVito’s cameo was especially delicious] it wasn’t exactly what I hoped for.  He was simply another cut and paste host that had no real memorable sketches [except maybe the Seinfeld one, that one was pleasantly surprising].  So here I am promoting this week’s host Emma Stone.  When I saw her last year, she didn’t particularly wow me by any means, but maybe she can rally.  She’s an extremely talented actress who has no qualms about taking a few jabs herself.  My ultimate dream is that Jim Carrey cameos [and in the future hosts, his show was fairly decent] to talk about the whole, ‘I love Emma Stone’ deal.  Below is Jim Carrey’s creepy message and a link Stone’s promos.

Fancy Movie Quotes

All of these are absolutely hilarious.  The basic premise is to take a famous movie quote [one that’s usually short and sweet], and use creative diction to turn the phrase.  The results are astoundingly clever.  I dare you to come up with something better.  Hit more to see the others

Today’s Sunday Funnies is going to be a lot different from past Sunday Funnies.  The old Sunday funnies that a gallery of 24 individual pictures that forced you to click ‘next’ for every picture to be seen.  While this was beneficial for my purposes [each click was considered a view, so Sundays usually provided me with absurd amounts of ‘hits’], I personally would be turned off by the amount of work needed to simply be entertained for five minutes.  So I’ve divided the 24 pictures into three pages of eight pictures each.  So when you hit the jump, you’ll arrive at the first page containing 8 pictures.  By clicking the pictures, you’ll be sent to the original pictures website where the image will be bigger if you have any issues reading.  At the bottom of every page you’ll see a pages 1,2,3 logo, just hit the next page from where you are.  As I continue to develop this site, I’ll start looking for ‘next page’ HTML and stuff to help facilitate.  Thanks for your constant support and I hope you enjoy this new format!
