Finally beating the Destiny 2 raid with a blind group involved over 15 grueling hours. I wanted to commemorate the fireteam who completed it with me with this drawing.

Still very much enjoying Splatoon 2. I love how adorable they all look in their Salmon Run outfits.

I saw Hamilton last month in San Francisco and I psyched myself up by drawing the cast of the original soundtrack and production.

Animal Crossing is an amazingly therapeutic game. Peanut is easily one of the most adorable villagers out there. Just had to draw her.

I’m catching up on Naruto and I found Team Guy to be incredibly likable. Let’s be honest, Lee carries this team. But the other two aren’t so bad.

Finished Persona 5 and absolutely loved it. With as little time as I was able to spend with Haru, I thought she was A+ r/wholesomememes material. And I loved that.

‘Logan & Laura’
I watched Logan this weekend found it to be incredible. I grew up with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. This farewell piece really tugged a heartstring or two or ten. So much that I sat down right after the theater and knocked this sucker out.

Some Don’t Starve fan art of Wendy, Abigail and Chester as they wander a bit too close to night. I’ve been obsessed with this game and it’s art style late. Just had to try it out for myself.

It’s been a long time since I drew something and shared it here. I decided to draw some fan art of my favorite ADC from League of Legends as of light. She’s got a new skin (Firecracker!) coming out and I’ve decided that she should really get a Rockabilly skin. Punk hair, tattoos, and revealing clothing.
For her three guns, Rockabilly Jinx is sporting minigun guitar, an RPGC rocket propelling guitar case, and a microphone zapper. Enjoy!
The Binding of Lazarus

Lazarus was the first player I beat Mom’s Heart with in the Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth for PS4. I’m really happy this game was free for PS4 this month and I’ve really enjoyed my time with it. It’s such a subtly perverse game with incredibly (and hilariously) dark moments. Since playing and beating Mom’s Heart (which I wasn’t even able to see the epilogue because I died immediately after I killed her), I’ve lost 10 times in a row.
I was so happy with this game, I decided to draw up some quick fan art. Here we have Lazarus with some random monster (one I made up, don’t really think it’s a real one). I very much adore the art style of this game and it feels like something I would come up with in a horrific nightmare.
Project Pool Party v2

Over a year ago, I drew a piece on my new Cintiq drawing tablet that involved 9 characters and a pool party.
It was my first piece on my new drawing tablet. As proud of it as I am, I’m happy to know that I’ve grown a lot over the year in terms of skill & patience.
So today I present to you a redrawing of that first piece containing the same nine characters in the same environment, a pool party! It was a lot of fun, can’t wait to get started on the next couple of projects I have lined up.
From the left: Ellie, Rose Red, Rhaegal the Dragon, Omar Little, Cloud, Steve, Viserion the Dragon, Drogon the Dragon, and Daenerys Targaryen.
I’ve included the original picture below. I’ve come a looooong way.
On another note, I have more projects on the way, Black Carnival, Saga fan-art, some Korra, I have a lot of ideas and hopefully the time to do them!

A piece I tried with a thinner pen. I hadn’t drawn Harleen in a while so I figured it was time for a new piece. More comic book-ey, less cartoony. I like the results. Slow pieces will continue to make their way to Banana Scoop.
I Drew Roger Sterling

Roger Sterling
Dialogue I had in mind when drawing this:
Roger’s current mistress: “turn out the light honey”
Roger: “what light, there is no light, when has there ever been a light?”
Interestingly enough there are two types of Rogers: 1) hilarious and fun bro-Roger and 2) depressed and messy Roger. I opted to draw the 2nd because that Roger is so fascinating to me.
I did this as a request from a friend. Roger is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite character in my recently finished Mad Men. After drawing my first favorite, Peggy (which this drawing makes look silly in terms of detail and effort lol), I still had a pang for Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. And poof this piece I’m really proud of in terms of detail and shading.
WANTED: Future Industries CEO Asami Sato

I struggled with letting Asami smile in her mugshot or not, or whether I should try to make her seductive in her mugshot given how much of a bombshell she’s meant to be. Ultimately, I went with a serious shot because I pictured if Asami did have to get arrested (which is true in her canon mugshot), she would be very upset and serious about it. Ta-da, serious Asami. I’m obviously going to finish Bolin and I might do Kai, Tenzin, and maybe Bumi.
WANTED: Republic City’s Officer Mako

The wanted posters continue with Mako’s wanted poster. It’s not nearly as detailed as Korra because Mako’s wanted poster was very obscured and difficult to view. So I took a generic picture of Mako and modified it slightly to match the wanted poster. I added the gritted teeth because I think it fit Mako’s attitude as well as Korra’s general tone did. I think I’m trapped with doing the final 2, plus I accepted a request to do a profile of Roger Sterling, so Black Carnival is taking (another) break right now as I do some of this fan art.
WANTED: Avatar Korra
Posted in Fig Art, Television, tagged aang, Art, asami, Avatar, bolin, Drawing, fan art, last airbender, legend of korra, mako on August 3, 2014| 2 Comments »
I have a lot to say about Legend of Korra this season, mostly summed up by one word: ACE. In the most recent episode, there’s reference to a set of wanted posters picturing Neo-Team Avatar. I absolutely fell in love with Korra’s ‘smugshot’. I was able to grab a screenshot of Korra’s wanted poster and performed a quick trace-and-color of the drab and sepia-esque picture. I’m really into it and I have motivation to try to make due with the rest of the out of focus and skewed images of the other 3 (and maybe a bonus one of Kai).
I used a texture pen to kind of give the drawing some…well texture I guess, but let me know if you guys think a regular G-pen will work better.
Jinx and Vi

Jinx and Vi have a staring contest. But Jinx looks like she’s got the upper hand…
One of the more time consuming and experimental projects I’ve done. I learned two new techniques drawing this: the transparency lock tool to color my line art and the multiplication blending tool to shade/light my drawing.
Anyways, I’m very excited to continue drawing and practicing. I’m think of doing some serious Bat Family or Wonder Woman stuff…Or some Saga stuff…Or some more League stuff.
These are the best kinds of problems.
