Blooper Reels are hilarious at the end of movies because they demonstrate what actors are like behind the cameras.  I feel as though it would be impossible to not laugh at some of the jokes they come up with, and I felt right.  A lot of the jokes that make it into the movie were originally laughed at and it was probably only after a dozen takes did they regain the composure to make the final take.  Below I’ve compiled 5 fantastic blooper reels along with a bonus deleted scene that is pretty much a blooper reel.

Sunday Funnies

This is a new segment I’m trying to implement to humor for some of my viewers.  These jokes I personally thought were funny, but in reality, some the of jokes here are sexist, racist, and genuinely offensive, but they are all humorful in their own way.  Please don’t judge me for what I think is funny, and just try to appreciate the humor.  I’ll be back next Sunday with a new batch of pictures.  So tickle yourself with this humor.  Hit the jump for the gallery.

Hollywood has described this as summer’s biggest sleeper hit.  R rated comedies don’t normally do well compared to their competition due to their fairly closely targeted audience, but good word of mouth has recently allowed R rated comedies like The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and the Hangover to do well.  The thing that sets Bridesmaid’s  apart from its fellow R rated box office hits lies in its leads.  The all female cast, which normally would’ve targeted only female audiences, was able to set itself apart from ‘chick flick’ status to appeal to a broader demographic, something not commonly seen.  With clever writing, chemistry between it’s leads, and a cast of outrageous supporting characters, it’s these aspects of this movie that saves itself from falling to formula and instead becoming potentially summer’s best comedy.

Star power and whoever is in the director’s seat are usually good indication of whether or not a film is going to be good or not.  When I first watched this trailer, I saw James Franco, Natalie Portman, and Danny McBride.  When I saw the guy who directed Pineapple Express was directing this, I was even more excited.  Then Rotten Tomatoes came out with it’s consensus and I was deeply saddened by its poor review.  [I only use rottentomatoes to tell me which movies I should spend money at a theater, not to judge whether or not a movie is good or not, see my in-depth analysis of rottentomatoes here]  If a movie does poor on rottentomatoes, I’ll usually wait till DVD to watch it.  And so that is the story of how I wasted two hours of my life watching this pooty patooty of a movie.

The Lord of the Rings franchise is the one of the most powerful and memorable franchises in the history of cinema.  With such good source material, the internet has come up with clever ways to mock and satirize it.  Some are very gimicky and not that clever, and others are very well done.
