I love finding other actors in obscure roles before they reach their ‘big break’. The unforgettable Tate Langdon (Evan Peters) paid his dues just one full season earlier at the beginning of Michael Scott’s last season, where he played his nephew. A spoiled brat, Michael Scott was forced to spank him in front of his co-workers. But I bet Michael Scott didn’t know, is that his nephew would then go about mass murdering tons of people a year later.

I was just goofing around on Youtube the other day [who doesn’t do such things], and I found this rather hilarious audition tape of Steve Carell auditioning for the role of Brick in Anchorman, who he later immortalized. Watch the clip and as one Youtuber said in the comment section, “this is better than the actual part in the movie.”

I wasn’t able to comment on how the season [and series] opening of the television show’s I’ve been watching. In all honesty, each opening could have it’s own article dedicated to them [those will be saved for a later date], but in essence of time, consider this a check up commenting on how strong each series is so far, and where they can improve. This is a good time for a check up because one cannot judge how well the series will do this season based on the opener, but rather the follow up episodes that will likely be more closer to setting the mood of the entire season run. Hit the jump to see if you agree. Spoilers ahead, watch your step.

Fall TV is the most exciting thing to happen to me this year. It was only early this year I discovered the wonders of Television. I’d hate to say it, but TV just might be getting an edge on film in the heated debate within my head. We’re not going to get into that right now, maybe on a rainy day and I want to write a 3,000 word essay. Anyways, back to the excitement of Fall TV. Everyone is expecting new shows and old shows to return and the marketing team’s best way to attract new and old fanbases is of course the promos. Below, I’ve compiled a list of videos of instances where the marketing team has succeeded and I will watch the season opening. Let me know if I missed anything you’re going to watch.
