Fall TV is the most exciting thing to happen to me this year.  It was only early this year I discovered the wonders of Television.  I’d hate to say it, but TV just might be getting an edge on film in the heated debate within my head.  We’re not going to get into that right now, maybe on a rainy day and I want to write a 3,000 word essay.  Anyways, back to the excitement of Fall TV.  Everyone is expecting new shows and old shows to return and the marketing team’s best way to attract new and old fanbases is of course the promos.  Below, I’ve compiled a list of videos of instances where the marketing team has succeeded and I will watch the season opening.  Let me know if I missed anything you’re going to watch.

Fox – New Girl

You can’t deny the attractiveness of Zooey Deschanel being quirky

Fox – Terra Nova

Steven Spielberg’s backing this, I don’t need any other persuasion

NBC – Community

John Goodman is returning to comedy TV!  Yes yes yes!  Songs! Dean Pelton! Yes yes yes!

FOX – The X Factor

I will not watch this show, but not gonna lie, this ‘suck it American Idol’ promo was actually kind of clever.  Simon Cowell is actually quite clever.

F/X – It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Showtime – Dexter

So delicious.  So darkly delicious.  A perfect soundtrack to capture the tone.

AMC – The Walking Dead

May be the weakest promo on here, but I don’t doubt this will be a good season.

NBC – Awake [January2012]

Jason Isaacs is in this very interesting new tv series.  I look forward to it in high hopes.  Don’t fuck this one up NBC, you’re already putting a target on it’s back for releasing it January 2012, just don’t fuck this one up.

Bonus 2: A Promo that sucked

NBC – The Office

No new footage and a ‘fuck you, LOLOLOL, we’re not telling you anything new or substantial unless you watch our show’ tone makes me not want to watch.  Although shame on their marketing team for such a weak promo in a sea of awesome promos, I’ll probably still watch the show anyhow.  Don’t ask me why.
