So as many of you have already noticed, EA (Electronic Arts) have released their own steam-like application known as Origin, which hosts a lot of the major EA titles, many of which were pulled from steam before the release of the program. Since then…well…it’s received more than its fair share of criticism ranging from poor design to poor customer service. The interview with Gabe Newell, head of Valve and subsequently, Steam, can clue us in to how he views his ‘competition’. At this point this article could be nothing more than speculation, but I found it to be an interesting enough read.
