When I stumble on one blooper reel, I usually stumble on a whole mess of them. Here we have NBC’s Parks and Recreation blooper reel from season 2 and 3. They are just as hilarious as you’d imagine with Nick Offerman leading the team on making others break character. What you’ll be surprised with is how fierce Rob Lowe is when he screams a string of obscenities to get back into character. And listening to the usually innocent looking Amy Poehler say the words blow job a couple of times will shatter your thoughts of innocent Leslie Knope. Regardless, I love Amy Poehler and I think her laughter is like the sun shining on my head. Check out season 3 below.

Ron F*cking Swanson: All American Beef

From artist Sam Spratt, we have one of the greatest images ever created in the history of man kind. Ron Swanson is quite possibly the the embodiment of the All-American Hero. He is an avid fan of meat, he has a strict code in dress, hair style, and personal effects, he can do practically anything given some wood and a hammer, and can catch fish with his bare hands. He’s likely also fought a bear and won. And that damn mustache. It’s so glorious that it makes me want to shed my own Filipino heritage for some nice full facial hair.
Anywho, back to the artist who has created the most badass rendition of Ron Swanson. Complete with both Tammy tattoos, a ridiculous but likely very true mustache chest hair, a ton of meat in the background, a Mulligan’s apron, and of course the Ron Swanson Pyramid of Greatness. I would kill for a conversation with Nick Offerman.

One of my favorite sites, Warming Glow, is equally angry at the Emmy release of nominations. Hooray Leslie Knope was nominated…but not Best Comedy nor a Supporting Actor for Ron Swanson? Yes Mr. Swanson, We do hate everything. Hit the link for 10 gifs of our favorite Parks and Recreations characters reacting negatively. Fall TV needs to come back for more Parks and Rec.
Pawnee.gov – Pawnee’s Real Life Site

I stumbled upon this awesome website for Pawnee, Indiana. It’s not as awesome as it could’ve been, where it’d include a .gov representing it’s ‘legitness’, but regardless, it’s still pretty good. I’d imagine being an intern at NBC and being told to build a separate website for Parks and Recreation. The website itself is fairly detailed, having full list of the employees at the department and more. There’s even Ron Swanson bit. Now I hardly doubt Nick Offerman wrote that article, but it’s still neat someone impersonating him. They even included an email address….now we’ll have to see if they actually respond.
Another day, I’ll definitely talk about the Knope Campaign website and it’s equal awesomeness….PARKS AND RECREATION NEEDS TO COME BACK NOW!
A History of Pawnee Signs

Parks and Recreation is definitely one of the best comedies on air. It has some of the best characters ever created and the writing is so good. One of the results of the amazing writing is the creation of one of the best towns in the world, Pawnee. I even wrote about why the town is so awesome. One of the running jokes is how Pawnee’s signs and slogans have changed over the years. Appreciate a visualization of these slogan names below.
My Favorite Town in the World: Pawnee

It’s been a couple of weeks since NBC’s Parks and Recreation has wrapped up it’s 4th season. As I’ve stated before, I thought it was probably the most heartfelt comedy that aired this past season. There are many reasons why this show is amazing. The writing for this show is absolute gold. And with the amazing cast of characters that deliver the script are equally amazing. However, I’d like to bring your attention to something that’s often used as a joke, but doesn’t necessarily get the spotlight it deserves: the town of Pawnee. Within it’s writing, the creators of the show have created a colorful and amazing town. The town Pawnee itself has had an amazing history of racism towards Indians, hilariously self-centered news broadcasters and talk show hosts, an odd picture gallery depicting gruesome events in history in their city hall, a hilarious series of ‘Welcome Signs’, and more. In this post, I’ll look back on all the things that makes Pawnee awesome besides the lovable people at the Parks and Recreation department.
Character Profile: Ron Swanson

One of the biggest things I’m upset about is the Emmy snub targeted by Nick Offerman, who plays Leslie Knopes boss, Ron Swanson, on NBC”s Parks and Recreation. One of Parks and Recreation‘s characters that carries more comedic luggage, Offerman’s Ron Swanson is most deserving of recognition besides the already nominated. Aziz Ansari’s Tom Haverford is funny and clever, but Offerman’s perfect timing and dead-pan delivery usually is more satisfying than some of the sometimes-funny squabble Ansari says. So I’ve compiled some awesome things and hilarious moments featuring TV’s best mustached figure in honor of this horrendous crime. Enjoy.
