Banana Scoop has had its break and it’s been absolutely wonderful.  Our writers were given a break and prepared some really great articles with our newfound reinvigoration.  There’s a lot of neat stuff we’ve planned and want to feature in the coming weeks, like a greater About Us section, a DMCA statement, and then some other things we’ve put on the back burner for a while.  The Scoops gonna come back harder than ever.  Buckle in and prep yourselves.

The long awaited About Us Page is up that features a mini biography about each of our authors.  Be sure to visit that page to contact us and get to know us more.  It would be really neat to further expand this section to include a history section about the what this site franchise has been through [it’s not THAT exciting, but I’ll add a few ninjas and damsels and distress to spice things up.]

DMCA Promises, Picture Sourcing, and Legality

I’m becoming more and more concerned about the legitimacy of this site.  Truth be told, we ‘steal’ a lot of content from other blogs, artists, and sites in the name of sharing them with our viewers.  We try our best to site the best of what we internet-hijack, like artists and specific images to large corporations.  And while not everything we do is 100% legal, we’re looking to include a DMCA policy which allows viewers and original content creators to ask that their stuff be removed, which we will absolutely comply with as soon as possible.  Meanwhile, we’ll try to source more and more….eventually.

We’ve updated the art banner, which features some of my favorite art that I’ve drawn.  Be sure to look out for it in the banner above which includes 1/5 different banners!  Hope you all enjoy it!

Tentative Breaks in the Future

Oh my, the break was a bit too nice.  A life without responsibility, no pressure of posting articles, I found myself with a decent amount of free time [although I spent that free time preparing articles for this week, but at least there wasn’t any pressure involved].  I fully expect at least one more break before Christmas, especially when the classes start test season 2 round.  Until then, at least we’re back to business. More on scheduled breaks in the coming weeks!
