Engadget did a great interview with John Hodgman concerning the “death of publishing” and “being a Mac trapped in a PC’s Body.”

(Macs) were technology that made sense to me because they seemed to want to bend to how a human thinks as opposed to asking a human to bend to how a machine thinks — which is exciting and fun for a lot of people, but not for me.

iPhone 5 Review

Please don’t mind this as it was almost 2 in the morning when I wrote it, and I’m incredibly tired. So, I was lucky enough to be able to get my hands on an iPhone 5 today. As such, I thought I’d write an awesome review about it here on banana scoop. I will try to keep the following article as unbiased as possible with consideration to the Galaxy SIII, which is a monster in its own right. This will primarily be about the iPhone, however, so if you have a penchant for hating on apple products, then leave it at the door. Omar Gallaga at CNN has stumbled upon an fascinating parallel. The rise and fall and rise again of tech giant Apple is stunningly similar to the adventures of Walter White in Breaking Bad. The similarities between Steve Jobs and Walter White are especially spine tingling.

Here are two excerpts from Mr. Gallaga’s article:

“What makes Apple so successful? Like Walter White, it has mixed the proper elements at just the right amounts to create highly pure, addictive products. The products have been made within secretive working conditions. The skill employed to design and manufacture them tends to make what competitors put out seem like cheaper, cloudier, less effective imitations.”
