5. Discovering Happy Endings

I would call myself and Entertainment Weekly whore. Because of Entertainment Weekly and some of the stories they cover, they’ve gloriously led me to watching some of my favorite TV shows: Parks and Recreation, American Horror Story, and now Happy Endings. The most recent is Happy Endings, where they compared its colorful characters to the successful 90s sitcom, Friends. So immediately, I tried the first couple of episodes and was immediately hooked. However, before I start praising this too much, I’ve got to be careful about articulating it’s ‘creativity’ when it sometimes treads too close to that beloved 90s sitcom that changed a generation. I’ll write more about what I’m talking about another time, until then, you can expect me to tune in every week come this season.
4. Revamping my Wardrobe

I don’t consider myself gay in terms of sexual orientation, but in terms of neatness and fashion, I’m quite up there on the gay-o-meter. I care heavily about the way I look and how I’m presented. I have more hair product than sports trophies and I know brand names like Steve Madden, Versace, and Armani and and I even try to shop exclusively at places like Express and Banana Republic. Recently, I’ve acquired a new batch of clothes, accessories, and general swag that’s got me excited to start school again. Because I’m going to look absolutely fabulous.
3. Surviving Another Semester at One of the Hardest Schools in the Nation

As some of you know, I’m currently enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a refined engineering school that has been ranked over and over again for its strong programs and successful graduates. So it’s no wonder that me surviving my 4th semester here is big news. I’m so glad I can finally release all the stress built up by writing this blog again.
2. Getting a Bamboo Create/Creating a Deviant Art Profile

I got a graphics tablet and I love to draw. Beforehand, I was forced to draw on paper with pencil, outline in pen, scan the pictures in, clean up the marks, and then color. Now everything is direct to my computer, cutting an originally 4+ hour production time to about an hour with increased quality. I absolutely love my new graphics tablet and more than often I’ll be sure to provide links to my new deviant art page that I’ll be creating soon.

1. My Trip to the Philippines

I’ve spent the past 3 weeks of my vacation on the tropical Islands of the Philippines with my family. There we met up with long distance family and spent a week on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Besides a rough collision with jet lag in the beginning, this trip was amazing and I could do an entire post containing the adventure I had over there. But this is a movie and TV blog, so we’ll keep it that way.

I just commented on another post about Happy Endings, but I’m glad you found it! It needs the love from the blogging community – I write about it often! http://thelittlestwinslow.com/2011/09/30/happy-times-with-happy-endings/ And there are no words for the shit that just went down on American Horror Story. What a brilliant, brilliant show. Kudos on the references – we share many interests haha
Great shares!
