Collegehumor has awesomely created this photoshop series where they shop Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney’s face onto popular romantic comedy posters. We’ve featured a couple of other Election 2102 images, but as I’ve mentioned, I don’t really want to polarize this site [despite our current 2012 poll has Obama up 11-0, so at least we know how liberal our viewers are]. Anywho, these are just a little bit of fun especially because Romney’s face is pretty funny in some of these photoshops. Check out the micro gallery I’ve included below and check out the rest of them at Collegehumor.
i have a question for you patrick, we all know ubisoft has been commended for its historically accurate and fast-paced assassin trilogy, Assassin’s Creed. But we also know that rockstar games have impressed lately with historically based games such as GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and the likes. But my question to you is, do u think rockstar is capable of tackling another assassin’s creed game using a different protagonist and still be able to keep us assassin padawans on our greaves. I would appreciate your reply
Thanks for asking Hybridbooks, I appreciate that you value my opinion on such a matter. To be fair, I’ve only played Assassin’s Creed 2 + Brotherhood and I thought both of them were pretty great, albeit a tad redundant. The Grand Theft Auto Franchise has definitely created one some of the most expansive and interactive environments up to date. The level of staleness is something I think Rockstar is indeed constantly trying to combat, such as releasing games like Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire that go against or at least maintain a level of freshness compared to the GTA franchise. Ubisoft however I do feel as though they sold out a little bit and sold us the same game nearly 3 times [Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations]. Their turn to a completely new protagonist in a strikingly completely different setting [Old timey Europe vs. Unsettled North America] is a good move. I skipped out on Brotherhood because it looked like an expensive expansion of the old game, but I truly might consider getting this game, especially considering that it’s more affiliated with something I’m far more familiar with [once again Old Timey Europe vs. North American history]. They’re definitely boasting some cool new features in this new game like dual-wielding, ship battles, fighting wildlife, and parkour in the woods. So yes, I’d definitely believe they’re capable of brining the Assassin’s Creed franchise to breath-taking new directions. Possible new locations in the future: South America, China, etc. They have a lot of potential, so long they don’t make the same game 3 [or 4 in some people’s opinion] times in a row..
True talk, AC 3 looks like a new breath-taking experience all together so far. The take on the American revolution, not only reminds and educates us but also takes us into the lives of past american heroes( cant wait to ask Benjamin Franklin how much it hurt when lightning hit him while he was flying the kite). But as much as I am kinda getting tired of the AC franchise, I still want it to be in progress, but probably under other developers e.g. Rockstar. Thanks for your reply and I hope to see AC games set in places like Asia(Ancient China or Feudal Japan), Africa( Pharoahs or Slave Liberation) and South America.
Yeah I heard that they’re making some alternate timeline DLC where George Washington becomes a tyrant! I’m pretty excited about this new direction they’re taking and can’t wait to see where they take the franchise next, so long they don’t make another ‘Brotherhood’/’Revalations’ scenario. I kind of want this new character’s story to be told in one game instead of 3. I’d feel like I would be paying for the same game 3 times…
That is true,I also hope that AC 3 is not stretched into 2 or more games. The DLC pack sounds interesting though. Another game that I am anticipating is Hitman” Absolution, I saw the new mode called ‘Contracts’ which features the ability for the player to turn any NPC character into a target. In all AC 3 and Hitman: Absolution are the two games that I hope would be able to live up to their hype
